Coming straight to the best sources
Thanks, Brandi. Its amazing what taking the reins can do.
Day two of back to normal (normal for me now) eating, and not a minute too soon. I put myself on the scale this morning and have managed to gain 3.5 lbs., most of which I'm hoping is water. I guess time will tell in a week or so.
DH is better today. He is eating and talking, not without some difficulty. Cognitively, he is intact, so that is a huge relief. He's going to rehab tomorrow and will be getting his ass whipped. I guess if he can do it, I can do it.
Back to work, getting the kiddo off to school. A normal routine will help tremendously. The rehab is 5 minutes from our house, thank God, so visiting him will be very easy.
You vets are the best.

Sending hugs and prayers your way! Sounds like you have given yourself the opportunity to relax, think and put things into perspective. Getting your eating back in order will help your life feel like it's more back in order too. You sure don't need to have everything spiraling out of control. Staying on track will also help your daughter recognize that you are handling things in a positive manner, which can only be good for her soul too.
