X-post..I love my sleeve!!
Hi Donna ♥
Loved your post and so identified with it! I, too am back on track as of Monday, 8/15 and have lost 5 lbs! I had gotten into eating out 99% of the time, fast food is a killer. I wasn't making healthy choices and more importantly wasn't listening to my beautiful sleeve. She was so patient with me. I got into night eating, mostly granola and dry cereal. My sleeve didn't work when I ate this kind of crap, so of course I kept eating until bedtime. Kept saying to myself...granola is good for me and was in so much denial. My cravings were out of control to say the least and I had gained 23 lbs from my lowest weight of 173. My goal was 180. Today my goal is to eat healthly and stop eating the crap food. I have a hard time after work so I've been cutting off my dinner meal and having a fruit/yogurt smoothie and/or tasty boullion. Last night was a late night for us and stopped off at Carl's Jr. on the way home and had chicken tenders. Not the best choice, but not the worst either. My little sleeve was telling me that 3 chickens fingers is "enough". I had a carbmaster yogurt when I got home. I feel so much better! My goal is to get back into preparing healthy meals for me and my fiance, for for now he's on his own. He's a fast food junkie and I think he kinda liked it when I was too. He's going through withdrawal, but he'll make it. I love myself today not to get back into "eating the way he does". He can do it, but I can't. I started using myfitnesspal.com to log my food/weight/etc. I love my OH family, especially Brandilynn ♥ Keep it up girlie cuz we're in this together!! Thanks so much for posting your journey!! Love, Vicky
