When you're not feeling well, do you have more restriction?

I have had a bug (mostly cold symptoms) since the weekend and have not been able to keep anything dense down, or really much of anything except for liquids.  I'm really not worried about it, because it happens to me every time I catch something and goes away when I'm better, I'm just wondering if its a common occurence?

PS - I'm still hungry - as always, but not starving.

Hmmmmm,  you know I don't think I have had a single cold since I had my surgery. Maybe I am just lucky but I credit it to improved health and immunity. And I live in the cold capital of the world - the Pacific Northwest.  Hope you are better soon.  Diane

I've only had one cold since surgery and honestly I didn't notice one way or another.

I have had times when I did not feel well.... sinus infection issues, and had no appetite, so therefore, did not eat enough to notice any difference in restriction. sorry.

Thanks for all of your replies!  I'm better and have more room again.

Diane, I thought I was from the cold capital in Ontario, Canada, LOL!  Actually we've had a really warm summer, close to 90 every day, but we'll pay for it this winter!

I have allergies. I've had a few "head colds/sinus drainage" since surgery. That nasty crap fills up my sleeve, and yes, my capacity is much more limited.

The little kid Mucinex fast melts work great.

Also, anytime I am overly stressed, or having an emotional breakdown(happens a lot these days with the little invading Sprout screwing with my hormones) instead of wanting to eat, I can't eat. I simply can't get food down. This was my issue pre-VSG as well so I'm not shocked that this has remained the same since being post-VSG.
