Why so few calories so far out? No wonder you're hungry.. I guess I am off here, but it doesn't look like much food to me..

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

Hi Fawn, that was just breakfast and lunch today.  I can add it up during dinner, that's for real!  Do you exercise still?  I recall you are pretty laid back when it comes to eating, but thought I saw some of your posts where you were eating under 1000/day.  What's it like for you today?  Love ya!

I *was* exercising just for entertainment really (kept me busy and NOT shopping, lmao) but since I am recovering from my TT, I won't be exercising again for awhile. As for food.. well here is the thing.. I am sure sometimes I eat under a 1000 cals.. and sometimes much, much more. I simply do not keep track. I eat when I am hungry and the calories will be what they will. When I have tracked I have ranged from 800 a day to 1700 a day, and I would hazard a guess at an average of 1300 or so... simply because I am back to first three months restriction w this TT I am back to eating around 800 cals a day, and I have already dropped 12 (unwanted) pounds in three weeks.. Argh to that.. I didn't want to lose!

You are amazing!  Love that you share with us on this board.  My best times after WLS were when I listened to my sleeve.  I chose the sleeve cuz I didn't want to have to eat a certain way and now I'm realizing that I can eat anything, but just gotta listen "closely" to my sleep and stop the night snacking crap.  Love you girl.  You look amazing!  Congrats on your TT!!

I'm like Fawn, that doesn't seem like much food to me - even though I realize you are trying to lose rather than maintain.

Vicky, I hope whatever you need to do works for you.  but "I'm so hungry" sounds wrong to me - did I miss something here?  can you eat half an apple or something?

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

What about adding in some solid lean protein like chicken, tuna, fish, etc? An egg or two always fills me up. For the dry chicken, I'll add some salsa and a small amount of avocado. Yum... How much protein does your yogurt have? I use Greek yogurt, Fage 0% or Chobanni NF, and add a few berries. Sometimes, I'll add some unflavored protein to the yogurt to boost the protein content. Perhaps, if you increased your protein content at breakfast, this would help to keep your hunger down.

All great reminders for me :)  The broth helped to get me away from my night eating.....

Believe me after 2 years I know all the good protein info, but as I now understand I am getting back to what worked for me before this weight gain, and it definately had to do with getting away from the basics....protein first baby!
