Xpost...It's about time for this one!
It took me a little over 3 years. But, I have finally done it. I have begun exercising. I chose to start of with Zumba and ENJOY it. It's kinda funny, while I am there sweating me arse off and seeing the scales going down. I'm thinking what other exercise I can start doing to be more active. Starting to look for a gym that I will like going to. Be it, Goodlife, YMCA, Spa Lady, or Gold's...Any thoughts on those facilities?

I LOVED my Gold's- till I tried to quit before my TT... They had a great pool, awesome classes, great hours, and were very cheap- plus I used my membership while on vacation in a different state..
I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!
"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within." - Ramona L. Anderson
Hi Donna - long time.....good for you for getting into exercise. I have heard Zumba is great!
What I would recommend in terms of gyms, is to check out a few of them and see what ones offer free trial passes, so you can test out the classes, the machines, etc.. and get a feel for the way they are run. When I was home this summer I went to a few classes at the Athletic Club gym in Ottawa, and was thoroughly impressed - they offer a ton of classes! Maybe there is a similar gym your way.
cheers, Joy
