Heavens to Betsy.....upstaged on my 60th BD! Pictures
Thanks Jacque. The fair in our town was 2 weeks ago when it was over 100. It was horrible. It's still pretty hot - in the 90s. We are going out of town for the weekend so we won't get to see Abbie show her heifer. I feel badly that we'll miss it, but the plans for this weekend involve 3 other couples and non-refundable reservations so son and DIL will get videos.
Yes, Abbie is really a cutie. Actually, all 5 of my grandchildren are the sweetest, best looking children in the entire world. lol

I don't do bread, Diane, so I'll have the Runza without the bread. 60 sneaks up fast. It's kind of creepy when I think about it, so I put it out of my mind. I'm on the right side of the grass, so that's what matters - and that I'm living life now that I couldn't do 2 years ago!

Yep. it is indeed what matters - the here and now and what you can do with it. And fyi, i don't do bread either. The Runza was an indugence of a childhood memory on my once a year trip to the town I grew up in where they were invented. And it was two meals.
But ya know what? As I approach 60 I feel better than I did at 50 without all that ballast. Great, isn't it!! Diane
