Heavens to Betsy.....upstaged on my 60th BD! Pictures
Betsy the cow and my granddaughter Abbie at the 4-H barn. Below: Me with Betsy ....The kids couldn't help celebrate my birthday (60 YIKES!) because Betsy had to be taken to the 4-H barn.
Not to be outdone by a cow, I decided to go for a Kodak moment. And besides, Abbie is just so darned cute with that big old heifer!
Betsy even turned away from me. Guess she didn't want to celebrate with me either. LOL
My son said it's my "before and after" picture.

Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Ice cream cake from DQ, Peanut butter bars, cookies, nuts, watermelon and grapes.
And yes, I ate a little bit of everything. Then DH and I went to supper before we headed to the fairgrounds.
The funny thing is, my son and his family don't live on a farm. A good friend of theirs does, and Abbie has always loved going to their farm and helping with the livestock. So Bill asked her if she wanted to raise one of his calves for 4-H. She is in heaven! She's our little cowgirl ..loves horses too. But then she's also an incredible basketball and softball player....then is also a girly girl and a little too boy crazy for my liking. She's quite a diverse child.

And yes, the sleeve is a wonderful thing. I think I look older since I've lost the weight, but I'll take the older look for the younger body.
