I'm just wondering what calorie range everyone is at. I my self stay around 900 but I want to start adding muscle so I need to increase my protein which would increase my calories.

I intake around 1400-1800 calories a day.  Depends on the day and my mood.  I have to stay about 1400 because if I don't I start losing weight and I am at a point now that I can't afford to do that.  I never thought I would say that I couldn't afford to lose weight in my life time.  Amazing how this surgery changes your life.

About 1200-1400, but until recently it was more ... and that's how I put back on the 20 pounds I'm now trying to shift.  Just as long as it is protein (and non-starchy veggies) that you add in, and not junk carbs and sugar, you will do just fine!

I track my calories fairly religously (and have since surgery) and can easily get up to 2000 a day if I just "free for all" it. But I mainly try to stay between 1200-1500 a day. At that rate, I can still lose about a 1 lb every week a half to two weeks. (I'm at my personal goal, and surpassed my surgeon's goal, but I wouldn't mind losing a bit more). I do want to say though that I work out about 4 times a week with that calorie intake as well, and from all the tracking I do I absolutely have to or I will not lose any more. Without working out, I'd have to stay around 1000 a day to lose, and about 1500 a day to maintain. I feel like everyone is very different, so I encourage people to track their calories, carbs, protein, et****il they figure out what works for them.

I am most of the time around 900 to 1000 but try really hard to get to 1200. With all my exercise by the end of the day after I add all my food up it is usually 1000 than it will minus my exercise and it ends up round 500 in a day.

My doctor keeps yelling at me to eat 1200.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

I'm at 1500 - 1800 a day and sometimes more.  I bodybuild and need those extra calories to build any appreciable mass.

1800-2100 depending on the time of year (and hence how much I am training).

I waited to add muscle until I was at goal. I did strength training before that but my goal with that was just to not lose a lot of muscle mass. I waited to put extra on until I was at goal and steady and knew I could maintain that weight. Then, I increased calories, did strength training like crazy, and put on a good amount of muscle. But also some fat.

It's hard to just put on muscle and it's almost impossible to lose fat while putting on muscle. So that's why I waited so that I would start with as little body fat as possible and could tell by looking how much fat I was also putting on.

After I got the muscle I wanted, then I worked on leaning out and losing the extra fat.
