VSG Maintenance Group
Hi, I joined this group!
I joined this group because I went on vacation 3 weeks ago and when I had the chance to check in I didn't recognise anyone!! I came here and looked and see all my friends and familiar faces so thought I would join here in anticipation of goal. I still have about 40 or more pounds to lose but I think here I might learn more instead of wanting to bite my tongue off every time I read a post about someone who is cheating at 10 days with chips. I know I am far from perfect but it makes me crazy!
I am looking forward to learning more as I go on towards goal and I should be home from vacation by the end of the month. We are leaving here (Texas) tomorrow and heading for Albuqurque then Flagstaff then Vegas and home. PS I have lost 10 lbs while on Vacation this year instead of gaining it!

Welcome, Steph! I know what you mean about not recognizing anyone on the main VSG board ... and wanting to reach through my computer screen and throttle some of the people there with their stupid / ignorant / dangerous behavior.

Welcome! I rarely go to the main VSG forum anymore for the same reason. Repetitve questions. I feel like I paid it forward for several months, but grew weary of the same old, same old. I still need support, so this forum is where I get it!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

I too am new, and full of maintenance questions and would love to hear advice and experienced stories from others beyond their first year post surgery. Hope to see you around on the boards! It took me a while to discover this particular one, and am excited to be here!
