It's all about the little things, right? Lol..

My hubby keeps my old pin up shots, from about a year or so ago on his desk. So my hubby was walking down the hallway at work and a fellow Marine stopped him and asked if he could swing by my hubby's office and look at my pictures. Lmao. My hubby laughed him off and said no, and the guy said please. My hubby joked that my new shots will be in next month and to come back then. The dude said "awesome, everyone is waiting to see them!"

Ha ha ha.. My hubby is peeved that I have admirers.. But refuses to take the pics down because he likes having "the hot wife".. Lmao.. And he says it makes it easier to get dudes to come for appointments.. I was ******g my pants guys!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

You are right! Yesterday I was lucky enough to run into the kindness of a couple of strangers also.

First I dropped my girls off camp- it is a free military camp 3 hrs from home- and found out there had been a mixup with Lina's meds.. They had told me the dr wanted her to have one, but they told me the wrong one. Well, I am in the camp nurse's office and they can't let her stay at camp w/o the meds on their chart. The med was one that is avaiable over the counter. They asked me to go buy some, and I was honest and said I couldn't afford to, but I would just take the girls home. The nurse said no way are they missing camp- and sent someone to the store to buy the meds with her own money. I was floored and my daughter SO grateful!

Then, I am headed home from camp and the whole highway is closed down- an accident. They were turning people through the police midline back in the opposite direction. I got to the turning point and explained to the officer that I was from out of state and had NO idea how to get home without the highway, and he thought about it a sec, and then let me by on the shoulder! Normally I would have a GPS, but it is locked in hubby's car at the shop we haven't been able to pay yet. I was again so grateful!

When I got home my hubby chalked the nurse up to my charming daughter and the cop to me being pretty, lmao, but I just thought the universe was trying to cut me a break!

Speaking of my daughter... Lina went to this same camp last year also- Caitie wasn't old enough yet. Anyway, three different counselors, the nurse, and two campers- plus thier moms all remembered her on sight and ran up to hug her.. One girls mom said her daughter was so nervous last year, but Lina really cheered her through the week, and is the reason the girl was back for a second year.. It warms my heart to know that I am raising such good girls..
