I get bored with water.  This was from another board way back when.  The lemon and mint have diuretic properties?  I drink it because I like it!

Sassy Water

I make a gallon at a time.
Your preference with the following:
lemon slices
cucumber slices
mint leaves
grated or sliced fresh ginger
(I do it all.  Sometimes orange, limes and even grapefruit)

105 degrees today.  This tasted mighty good!

I adore "orange water." Lots of orange slices and then refrigerated. After drinking it for awhile, it is as if you are drinking the purest, non-diluted hand-squeezed orange juice. Crazy, I know, but it tastes that good to me, esp when I am craving fruit (which I have given up in weight loss phase.) I have not tried the ginger yet, will do that tomorrow. Does it taste like Ginger Ale???, ( which I adore.)

To me the taste is...fresh.  My husband won't touch it.  Too healthy!  LOL!

Janet...if it wasn't already so hot, I would ask for you address so I could come over and try some of this sassy water..I have been living on crystal lite but its too hot for crystal lite today and plain water just doesn't go down well anymore.....I have these wonderful orange herbal infussion "tea" bags...I think today I am going to try to make iced Herbal infussion water with them...let you how it goes....we may have to find a shaddy spot to trade samples.....here's to avoiding the dreaded brown outs!!!!

When it's Sahara Desert hot like it is now, I can't drink anything sweet like Crystal Lite.  Or even my beloved Diet Dr. Pepper (a rare indulgence).  And water bores me to tears.  I love herbal tea, too.  It would be nice to have a water and tea sampling!  Stay cool!

Have any of you had Min****er? It's bottled and I absolutely love the Chocolate Mint. It tastes cold even when it's warm... really weird. Anyway, I make spearmint and peppermin****er at home and sometimes lemon or lemon mint. The Min****er is just nice to be able to grab a bottle when I'm out at a store. Flavored, but no sweeteners. Really good!!
