I posted this on the regular VSG forum but thought it might be something to share here. You all might know about this already...but maybe it's new...

A friend asked me if I used the Purple Pill Card? Never heard of it.

Well evidently those with or without insurance coverage may qualify for a discount up to 12 refills for their Nexium. I've attached the link for the information and a card that you can print.

I haven't tried this yet. I have ins coverage but have to pay upfront then get reimbursed 80% until I reach my OOP total. Thought I would share.

Wow, thanks!  I've been on Nexium for years, and even with insurance, it is pricey.  Nothing else works for me, though.  I'll give this to the pharmacist the next time I refill.

Say, where in Atlanta do you live??

Hey Dorothy---
Hope that discount works. I have to use the Nexium powder at $240+ a month. If the discount works, could save me a couple hundred dollars until I reach my out of pocket total. Surgeon says I might be able to get off this Rx as I get closer to goal but ?????.

I live in the Buckhead/Intown area. About a mile from Piedmont Hosp. Was super convenient since I worked downtown for the past 20 years. Now "retired" working consulting jobs primarily from home.
