Been a while! Saying hello...:)
I've been away from the boards for a good while now...but wanted to stop by and see how everybody is doing.
I've been dealing with a lot in my personal and business life..my boss who is also my very good friend is dying of stage IV pancreatic cancer and that has pretty much consumed me.
Anyway..made a year 4/28 and I absolutely LOVE (still) my sleeve.
It's the single best thing I've EVER done for myself!
I've lost 123 lbs so far and am still losing...albeit very slowly. Things started really slowing down in about December. From December until now I've lost about 35 lbs. I'm way ok with it.
I work out with a personal trainer 3x a week...nothing strenous..mainly core strengthening stuff for my back. It's something though and hopefully as my back gets stronger I'll be able to do more.
I'd still like to lose about 35 more lbs but honestly if I never lost another lb...I'd be very happy.
I updated my weight on my ticker but haven't taken measurements in a long time. Maybe I'll do that tonight and update that as well.
I'm in a size 12 pant and a regular large top...although today I wore a dress that was a size medium and it fit great. It is SOO much fun to be able to shop in regular clothing stores...so many to choose from! I've regained my love of shopping!
My restriction is still GREAT. For example..my parents were here for the weekend and we went to eat at Piccadilly. I got the large chopped steak, cabbage, and a salad. I ate about 1/3 of the chopped steak, and a few bites each of the salad and cabbage and was completely stuffed. I got the large on purpose because I wanted to be able to take it home. I had it again for lunch and threw the rest away. It was ALMOST enough for 3 entire meals. Tonight I had picked up a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store and I made some green beans. I ate the meat off of a leg and about 1/2 cup of the green beans and I'm way full.
I don't have any recent pictures but will take some soon...I think the before and afters (or at least until this point...I'm not done!) are pretty dramatic!
Hope you are all well and happy!!
(Is it appropriate to post this both in here and on the main VSG board?)
