OT Triumph of the Great Dog Chippie
Ok, can't help but brag. Today my border terrier Chippie finished his AKC Championship with a major win at our local shows. So not only did he get the winning points, he also defeated two other champions for Best of Breed!! This is somewhat unusual for a dog from the classes to defeat finished champions. So that meant extra points as he defeated a total of 12 other border terriers. And he got to be shown in the terrier group with all the big time dogs. I even won a nice raffle prize. And I took my own food (dog shows are notorious for having unhealthy junk food only for sale) so I stayed with my program. Took Chippie into one of the vendors and let him pick out a new squeaky toy.
And weight loss related - had to wait hours for the groups so we just walked and walked and then I had to load up all my equipment myself and my back doesn't even hurt and I feel like I could do it all over again tomorrow. But I don't have to do it again because CHIPPIE IS A CHAMPION!!!!! Sweet . Diane
