Today was the 1st time since pre-op that I ate BBQ pork loin and all I can say is WOW! I sure missed "the other white meat". What was really cool about it was my head said eat lots but my new VSG lifestyle and restriction said "No, no.. 4 oz is your limit". It was the best 4 oz of pork loin I have ever enjoyed & it agreed with me too (I was a little worried about that).... Craig

I eat pork, either loin or chop, almost every day and have done since I started back on solids after surgery, 5 months ago. I credit pork to my huge loss.. It is tasty and filling and chock full of vitamins and protein. in short, the perfect food!

Another fan of pork loin.  I season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and cumin usually.  Very pouch friendly.  Freezes well, too.

I love pork loin.  DELISH!!!!!  And, very good numbers as far as nutrition.  (Also, I find it very moist and easy for my sleeve.)

One of my favorite "recipes" -

*  Safeway Brand Lemon-Pepper Sauce - let it marinade 6-24 hours
*  Place in rottiserie at about 375 degrees for about a hour or hour and a half (outside should be blackened and inside all white)

Everyone in my family just gobbles this up.  They act like its a gourmet meal and it's the easiest thing in the world!!!!!!!!

Revision from Sleeve to DS (with re-Sleeve) on 10/10/17. Slow and steady ...

yep, easy to roast in the oven any time of year and if you don't eat any obvious fat its pretty healthy. Unlike some meats its about impossible to ruin it. And about any seasoning works.  Glad you had a great meal.  Diane

I prefer pork to chicken, hands down, no contest!  I never liked chicken breast pre-op and definitely haven't made friends with it post-op.   I've been eating pork chops, I guess it's time to try out the pork loin.
