Hyperactive gallbladder?

Just had HIDA ultrasound and my gallbladder is 98% which I thought would be a good thing... Even though I was having pains after eating and went to ER last week with severe pain. I thought "Oh, good... My gallbladder is fine, must have been reallllly bad gas or gastritis." But, noooooo. Surgeon wants to see me Friday to decide if this bad boy is coming out or staying in. Anyone experience anything similar?

Like i shared in the other post. last night at my bariactric support group,
My friend, who i went through options with, had that same pain. she went to ER
and they couldnt find anything. she thinks it is her gallbladder. they are also
doing more tests. Hope you get to the bottom of this and get better quick!

I'm not QUITE sure what to tell you - except that they found 14 stones in my 6-month ultrasound and scheduled surgery immediately. I was told they could treat it with medication but that was a 6-12 month regimin. Seriously... I opted for surgery. Hopefully they will give you all options and you can choose what makes the most sense for you.

I never got a percentage when I requested a HIDA but was told my gallbladder was functioning normally ... please keep us abreast

Thanks, kids! Driving to Dayton tomorrow a.m. Not in the same kind of pain I was in last week, but I think I may just ask to have this puppy taken out, regardless. I don't want to EVER have that kind of pain again. For Christ's sake, it was like CHILDBIRTH (and I opted out of doing that again after THREE times)! I'm getting smarter, right? Lol!
