Thanks for posting this site.
I'm just wanted to let you know I'm going to lurk around a little....read some old posts.
I've still got along way to go...probably til May 2012 before goal even though I started April 2010.

I've lost tons of weight many times but have never made it to a maintenance phase. Strangely, it's a little scary for me to actually meet a weight goal. Never succeeded at that before.

So I'm going to start educating myself now. Thanks.

Hi and welcome. there is a lot of good info in the old posts so its well worth reading through them. lots on how to get started if you get off track or in dealing with other issues that occur mid-stream or after months of work. I never really suceeded in getting to a weight loss  goal before until now. Never had the right medical advice and treatment. got close a few times but always regained. NOT THIS TIME!!!!     so learn here and participate. Diane
