i kept reading about this group but never knew how to find it!!! ta da! i'm still pretty far from maintenance but i look forward to reading all the new and old posts and learning tons from everyone! thanks in advance..

 maybe i should introduce myself a bit! hello.. i'm 26..decided in october of last year that i was tired of feeling uncomfortable in my own body and decided to do something about it.  i was dead set on getting the lap band through the entire process of classes and appointments and after reading lapbandtalk and this site..i changed my mind and have never regretted it.

i'm definitely not in maintenance yet but am hopefully on my way there! i had zero complications during or after my surgery and have not met any food that gives me issues post-op.

i'm excited for all my new bedtime reading tonight :) i have tons of questions for the veterans..but want to read through the older posts first
