Bathing suit shopping help

Hi guys!

I went to Marshall's to buy a bathing suit and could not find anything. The ones that would provide bust support are way too big for me. I need something that covers my tummy cuz I'm not having plastics till probably October.

Any suggestions on stores or websites that would have a small bathing with good bust support for my deflated tatas?

One thing that ticked me off is that they had tons of options if I were still my original 20/22 size. Where were they when I needed them back in the day?

Anyhow, I know this is not a major problem, but it's a new one in reverse. Maybe it's even an NSV!

Maybe Victoria Secret? You could buy a tankini with bra sizes in the top and separate bottom sizes..

I got my tankini from Victoria Secrets.  Can get specific top sizes.

i had a hard time with this too. problem was my thigh skin sags badly and i looked terrible in most suits so i ended up in one with a skirt even though its a smaller size i needed the coverage. so its pretty old lady looking. Got it at Sears which I don't especially recommend but our small town options are limited.

Might try the Land's End Catalog as they have a variety of fits and I think you can buy the pieces separate if the top and bottom sizes are different.. I too thought this would be a much easier task but everything i tried on looked so terrible. Years ago in my fat days I got some good suits from lands end and it may be where I go again. diane

I was at Kohl's yesterday having the same problem.  The racks are already picked over though.  No much left in my size 6 or 8 with enough support or coverage for the chest.     They did have some tops with D and double D chest size but too big in the tummy section.  I still need a skirt due to the Sharpia look of my theighs.  Skirts can be found in 12, 14 and on up but they are too big, won't stay up.

I did order a couple of suit separates from Lands End because you can order separtes in different sizes.  But I have to wait for them to come.

Good luck and let us know where you find the deals.

Thanks y'all!  I will definitely try VS, Lands End, etc....  those places are not a point of reference for me for bathing suits.

I think a tankini is a good idea, and like Diane, I need a little skirt to hide the melty thighs.

My boyfriend told me to wear a bikini and all I could do was

Another option is to try a tankini top with bathing-shorts.  Here's what I bought:

For me, a skirt reminds me too much of the "fat suits" I used to wear when I was larger.  The shorts cover up the extra skin on my upper thighs, but gave some definition to my legs.

Best of luck!

I would tell you to go to Nordstroms and get a Miraclesuit.  They fit great and hide the skin very well.  They also provide really good support for the girls.  They may also have it at Macy's but I am not sure.

Possibly Academy. They have bra-size tops (not sure about tankini tops) but they do have supportive bra-size bikini tops for $20.
