The other night at Dr. C's support group  (my first time..loved it!), one of the girls mentioned bbq'ing artichokes.  I did that today...so yummy!  Cooked them first, cut them in half and then put them on the bbq.  So good!  Thanks to the one that shared this recipe..I totally love it and it is going to be a new staple around here!  (loved it so much, thought I would share it....a great snack)

I've been praising artichokes as a snack for months! You have got to try them with the Bolani Mint Garlic Cheese dipping sauce (thanks Elina for turning me on to this):

This sauce is so great and you can find at several Whole Foods stores in the Bay Area:

That's my favorite go to evening snack.  I make a few of them and just heat them up in the evening.  It takes a long time to eat, tastes great and is so healthy for you.  I am glad you love them.  You might also want to try the sprouted almonds that were mentioned, they have about a third less calories than regular almonds.
