Family Reunion NSV

My daughter and I attended a family reunion this weekend and had a couple great things happen. First of all, I only ate about 6 small cookies - which is a huge victoory because they were my Aunt Nellie's chocolate chip - made with some rice crispies int he dough to make them extra light and crispy - and they were the best ever - like crack really. Fortunately they were small - maybe 1/2 dollar size - and I had the good sense to step away from the table eventually! Other than that, I was a paragon of virtue, ate roast lamb and veg and enjoyed it thoroughly.

The BIG NSV was that several of my family members, including some who have been guests in my house and know me fairly well, had NO IDEA who I was when I showed up at the reunion. it really made it clear to me how much change has occured over the past 15 months! Gotta say, not really getting tired yet of all the comments on how great I look!

Next - a visit to the coastal town where I lived for several years and perhaps more of the same!

Such an attention *****!
