Why are short sleeves so effin short?

I really like the one Jackie had pictured.

That has become my pet peeve. I go shopping and don't buy anything because the sleeves are too
short on everything. It's maddening!

 I think i saw a bunch of those at old navy but of course I didn't get them. They were probably like 99 cents. It was an outlet mall. Darn I should have, but I think I said no b/c you could see through them. My arm self-consciousness is 2 fold. I have the flab, and I also have a giant birthmark on my right arm, so I have been tugging at sleeves my whole life. I actually have an appointment to talk about getting it removed. So maybe I can start being more liberated with my sleeves.

those look too warm for me at work, I searched on "shrug" at Old Navy and got a cute little crochet one but they have tiny sleeves!  *shakes fist in anger*

I hear ya!!  I was just complaining to my husband that everytime I move my arms they're followed by ten seconds of flapping afterwards.... thank God I'm not  a hand talker, they'd be flapping all the time!  UGH!  I really want a bat-wing-ectomy, but I'm not sure I'd feel any better about the scars than I do about the skin... I'm still praying for a miracle!

I am an insane hand talker!  (surprise).

I fuss because everything is cut so low that you have to wear multiple shirts, and I dont have that "cold" thinner chick syndrome at ALL, so I just can NOT tolerate wearing multiple layers unless its cold out!

I knew one day I was old when I was *****ing about shirts being cut too, low and then went on to ***** about how the damned sport socks were ALSO cut too low!  :}  (my heel keeps gobbling up the back of the sock and I end up wtih a front foot sock and an uncomfortable mushed up sock arch support! 

Gah. Now to ***** about this stuff folks are calling music.  :}

AND GET OFF MY LAWN, YOU KIDS!!  *shakes fist*

Same here, but I hate how long the men's tee shirts are!  I did recently discover "half sleeve" shirts.  Land's End has them and they are very comfy.  The sleeves truly fall at the elbow.  I think Beall's has them also.  It's something to watch for when shopping.  Until I find more, I'm tending to buy 3/4 sleeve shirts.
