What's your favorite "Go to" food?
Trish_Trish posted a picture the other day of a chicken patty she gets at Costco and I tried them and love them! I really need to get more variety in my diet and could use some new ideas for quick and easy sleeve friendly foods
My favorite go to food right now is a chicken breast stuffed with pepper jack cheese and bacon by Sam's Choice. I get them at Walmart and they take 35 minutes to cook in the oven. Here's a picture

Those look good. Going to have to try them! My go to is shrimp. I saute them in olive oil and a little Greek seasoning. Yum.
Hey, let me know if you would want to meet on Friday after you get off work. We could work something out. I think I'll get out of the PS appt. by 3:30 or 4:00. I can kill time until ou could meet me somewhere.

Cavenders Greek Seasoning. You can find it just about anywhere.
Not sure what route I'll take to get to Omaha. I usually go up I-29. but that's not looking too hopeful. I'll probably go up to I-80 and cross there. My husband says to take 92 to L Street. Guess I'll just wait to see what the news says Thursday night. We get all 4 Omaha channels so it's easy to keep track of what's going on with the flooding.

Those look really good!!!! I may have to renew my Costco membership just for those.
My go to food is rotisserie chicken. I guess I could get that from Costco too. I get one every week, debone and remove the skin. I use to to make chicken avocado wraps (with locarb multigrain wraps), chicken marinara with mozzarella, BBQ chicken, chicken salad, and many others. and when I just gotta have something to eat, I grab a ounce or two with either grapes or cheese cubes....its the fact that its ready with hardly no prep and very versatile that makes it my "must have" go to food

Yep me too! But, I just buy rotisserie chicken "breasts" from my local grocery store cause I only eat breast meat and the rest would just be thrown out.
I usually buy 3 or 4 of them at a time, take the skin off and cut up the meat into bite size pieces and place them in a bowl in the refrig.
My dogs love it, too!!! (i share)

While I love to cook, I work long, long, long hours and sometimes I need grab and go items. I stock the freezer and fridge with Gardein products which are meatless, but SO good and even the "chicken" tenders are low in carbs (and of course, high in protein).
I also love pre-made turkey and chicken meatballs (try Purdue or Aidells, Aidells are lower in carbs) and chicken sausages (again Aidells or Applegate Farms). Costco used to sell Aidell's products back when I had a membership so you may be able to find them there.
