I said I would update you all...I cut out the white bread bun with my veggie burger. I do have whole grain bread but make sure to limit it. Lost 6lbs in a week. Happy Happy Joy Joy!!! (obviously still counting calories) Thank you all!

Blessings,

Yes really....I conclude white bread as a highly probable cause for my stall. Because I was eating 1-2 veggie burgers with white buns a day(lunch&dinner).

Thanks!

I'm glad to hear the scale is moving again. Thanks for the reminder that white bread is not our friend.

What kind of veggie burgers do you eat? I'm always looking for new suggestions.

My beloved is absolutely in love with the Asian Morningstar Burgers.  They really are nice and have a bit of Thai taste to me, being lemongrassylike.

Congrats on a 6 pound weight loss!!!! That is OUTSTANDING!  Congrats one finding your weight loss poison.  I wonder what is was about the white bread that caused a stall?  High refined carb?  Maybe the high fructose corn syrup that they add to it...maybe both?

Are you a vegetarian?  If not, I get these chicken burgers from costco.  They're soooo good.  High protein, low fat, organic, tons of flavor (from the carmelized sweet onions, gouda cheese and peppers in it) wheat free.  My whole family loves them, even though I'm the only one that requires the wheat free part.  One of my food staples., the best part is that they are fully cooked, and only take a few minutes to brown in a pan with some onions and peppers (my favorite way to cook them) YUMMY!

Thank you Trish...yeah I don't know except I just tried to figure out what I was doing differently, and the veggie burgers(with the white bread buns) were the only thing because I had just discovered them. Im definatly not a vegetarian and I never knew I would like veggie burgers until recently when I tried one. Those chicken burgers look very yummy!!!
