You look fabulous! I have been wanting a bike for awhile now, with the state park right next door.. Hopefully a yard sale or a thrift store will have one soon.. I hope you enjoy it!

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

Thanks! Do you have Freecycle? I've seen lots of bikes be given away there...now, I've tried to snag one a couple of times for our daughter whose good bike was stolen at school, with no success...but it's a place to watch for one...

I forgot about freescycle- good tip! I have been scanning the free section of craigslist too... I am patient, so it will happen!

Thanks, Gail. This bike is really comfy--my days of gnarly are long past! I actually rode up Mt. Tam on my old bike before my daughter was born, maybe 25 years ago. I just want to get out and ride around the park and town--we'll have to go riding together sometime...

I'm impressed-riding up Mt. Tam. What a great accomplishment.

I want to become more comfortable on the bike, so that I can take an adventure vacation, with biking, hiking, and/or sea kayaking. I used to ride a bike a lot, when I went to UC Davis. It was quite the bike friendly town and everyone rode bikes. Since then, I haven't ridden very much.

I would love to go riding around town or at the state park with you. Sounds like fun!!

Happy riding!!

Thank you! It's really fun to get a new bike--now we may have to update my husband's bike. His was a top of the line mountain bike when he got it, which we realized today was 23 years ago or so!
