Got a new bike! (fixed the pic)

My old bike was probably 25 years old and we gave it away when we moved here, but this is a pretty bike friendly town, so I got a new one. Here I am on my maiden ride this afternoon. I look asleep but the "sun" such as it was was in my eyes!

Lol, you mean excuses not to exercise? I exercise A LOT, 4 hours minimum of cardio and 2 of strength training a week...I just don't particularly enjoy doing it. Not sure I want to wreck an easy peddle around the neighborhood by calling it exercise!

Any movement counts...except the typing movement of my fingers. lol. : ))

By the way, the ReViva calcium totally cured my 2 year constipation problem...thanks for the recommendation!

Oh, I'm so glad--it was a minor miracle for me to not be constipated after 3+ years of dealing with that problem!

Enjoy your new bike, hopefully the rain is almost gone and you can get a lot of use out of it.  You, Lizanne, look amazing, healthy and happy.

Thank you, Elina! Benicia is such a pretty place with all the water and a state park within riding distance, not too hilly. We're a mile from downtown Benicia where the farmer's market and all the shops and restaurants are, so it will be easy to hop on the bike for that kind of thing. I got a "not quite" cruiser bike so I can sit pretty much upright...

It looks like my kind of bike. The kind that many woman ride around downtown in Europe. I would love to be able to do that, but there is so much traffic where we live, that it's not really safe. Benicia is so beautiful. And I can totally see you riding around town on that cruiser.

I'm with you on the traffic! I am not what you'd call a confident rider so that's why the parks are so attractive. Our house is actually right on the Bay Trail, which goes, not surprisingly, almost all around the Bay, so there are lots of little footpaths and trails that are closed to motorized traffic. Anyway, hubby and I had a nice time!
