Ha ha- you aren't the only one.. I can drink more NOW than I could pre-op without getting even buzzed..

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

Well I was up bright and early this morning and no hangover. I mean, how can you get a hangover from two glasses of wine. Weight up 1/2 lb but the usual fluctuation I think. The interesting thing is that I was really more interested in wine than dessert. Had a nice grilled shrimp appetizer as dinner. Had just finished a stressful shift at our art gallery as there were large cash purchases and had to make sure it was safely deposited and matched up with quickbooks and unsnarl some errors. So I was late and really wanted that glass of wine!

Anyway, I am so dull that two glasses of wine is about the wackiest thing I do. But there were 7 of us and 3 bottles of wine so someone had to drink it!  Oh well, back to the dull life today of housework and preparing the Great Dog Chippie for shows next week.   Diane

Oh boy, do I detect a the beginning of a tansfer addiction?!  Kidding, of course!    Like you, I have occasionally indulged and more than 1 glass gives me a buzz.  I'm strange.  I don't like the feeling that the buzz of alcohol gives.  I like the little bit of relaxation it provides, but once I drink enough to get the buzz, I'm done. Guess I could never become an alcoholic...but shopping?!  Yep, I'm addicted and proud of it!

I did notice that you didn't jumble your words in the thread, so you must have still had your wits about you.  Boy, cheesecake sounds good.  I just had some watermelon cuz I was craving something sweet.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

yep Wanda, any day now I will be a lost weekend drunk at the bus station drinking cheap wine out of a paper bag and living on the streets. But I will be thin by god!  Shouldn't make fun I guess because transfer addiction to alcohol is a big issue for some and alcoholism causes so much heartbreak. If truth be known, my real danger of transfer addiction is peanut butter. Gotta have that blob of the stuff every night and have gotten real picky about what kinds I want. Got some reduced calorie kinds and they suck.  Gimmie my Skippy or Jiff. Of course, its in my food journal. Diane

If you end up on the Greyhound bus at the Oakland terminal, give a holler and I'll come get you!

I had 1/2 glass of red wine last week and definitely felt the warm fuzzies. That was the most I've had post-op.  I was on a business trip and took 2 nephews to dinner.  I had to help them at least a little on that bottle of wine.
