Oh this does not sound fun at all Laura. I will try pretty much anything under the sun before I have to resort to surgery.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this yet, but I can, like, curl my fingers under the bone - that's how much it protrudes. It's sooooo freaky.

You are a freaky chick!!  With your size 11 shoes and an ass bone the size of a grenade, lol...well I dunno...

Hey I've been wanting to ask you...what protein are you using?  Have you found something that you really like??  I'm always looking...gotta have variety ya know!

lmao!!

My ribcage is the worst, as you know. But eh, no sense in whining over something I have zero control over. The only thing that helps is making my shoulders wider by building muscle, so I can get more of a tapered look. Who cares if I look like a linebacker? Linebackers are people, too!!! haha

You can always tell when I'm drinking coffee because I get chatty and super goofy. :~)

I use mostly Optimum Nutrition right now: the double rich chocolate i think it's called is my favorite. I use the cookies and cream in my proats (soo good), and I got the chocolate malt on sale but I think it sucks.

The only other brand I currently use is Xtreme Formulations, a whey/casein mix, but I use it sparingly because it has higher calories and less protein than the ON. The flavor i have is Cinnamon Roll. I will be eating this a lot more often when I bulk again in August. It's deeelicious. They also have a banana cream that is supposed to be really good. I had to order this on Amazon but I got free shipping.

When I make my proats, I almost always add some sf/ff pudding powder to it to flavor it. My favorite mix is oatmeal with the ON double chocolate and Jello sf/ff banana pudding mix. Sometimes I will slice up a 1/2 a banana to mix in there with some whipped cream on top. So good. I look forward to my proats every day! I have some strawberry Jello that I keep meaning to try in proats - it's not pudding but I think it will be good anyway.

I got to the point again where protein shakes were just making me gag, so last night I used skim milk instead of water and added some cocoa powder and splenda. A million times better than just a scoop of protein with water! I just hate "wasting" calories on skim milk, but if it helps me get my protein then it's a good thing I suppose. Hmmm...maybe I'll try adding the pudding to the shake instead of the milk to see if that's any good.

Sweetie, there's nothing wrong with a big rib cage when you've got big boobs to support, lol.  Mine are little : (   We've all got something.

Boy, I looked up the stats on the XF and you are right about the cals...whoo!  I've got some ON cake batter and that is pretty good and I also have some Myofusion banana...147 cals for 25g protein.  I've been looking for a good chocolate so maybe I'll take a chance on the ON double rich.  Thanks for the tip chica!

To my tastebuds the ON double rich with almond milk still has a chemical taste, BUT if I add a packet or two of sweetners, it clears out the chemical taste for me.

I wish they made cake batter in 10 pound bags instead of the strawberry!  Booo!

I so wish I could find a chocolate to replace my beloved Max protein.  God, the gas I get from that stuff makes my dogs cover their faces, lol.

Have you tried ON's french vanilla?  I've heard it's good, but ir's so dang subjective...

No, only cake batter and vanilla ice cream.  Cake batter is my favorite at this point, taste-wise.

Wow!  You can actually curl your finger around it?! Crazy!  Sounds like the guy from "Shallow Hal" who has the actual tail, lol.  The pain is not funny at all though.  I have this problem in the tub, but "luckily" I still have plenty of padding around it so that it doesn't bother me any other time.   It will be interesting to see if it becomes more of a problem for me after the baby when I start losing weight again!

Funny you should mention this.  I was just thinking about this yesterday on my 2 hour drive home.  I was having horrible  tailbone pain a few months ago.  Yesterday during my drive, I realized that I'm not having that problem anymore.  Don't know why, but I'll take it.  It was horribly uncomfortable and I squirmed in my chair to the point some people were probably wondering what I was doing. LOL

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Booty work, booty work, booty work -- for me, what has been helpful is trying to build up my butt muscles so everything doesn't spread out when I sit down.  That, and alternating ass cheeks when I sit.
