Getting Nervous

One more day on liquid diet.  Next day THE DAY.   Going to have my sleeve and start my journey with the rest of you.  Getting a little nervous.  I know it's major surgery.  Concerned about being able to get all my protein and water down afterwards.  I've lost weight on liquid diet and can tell my stomach has shrunk as I am having a hard time getting all the shakes and water in now.  Will do my best to get it done.

Hey , read my blog. I was lucky to have the world's easiest surgery and recovery and I am old. I have had worse dental work. You will do fine and wonder why you were worried. Good luck and check in when you can. you will be glad you did this. Diane

Thank You Diane for your words of encouragment.  I know everything will be fine.  I feel it with every fiber of my being.  Just the thought of getting all you need to get in with such a small stomach is nerve racking.  If I can do a liquid diet for 14 days I can do anything.  Does  the VSG group have a chat night like the regular BB group does?

I'm so happy its finally your turn up,  you will be amazed at how easy it will all be after the first couple of weeks,  in the beginning you won't get in all your fluids and proteins but just do the best you can and it really does get so much easier after the first couple of weeks,  you know the drill, walk, sip, rest and repeat.  Can't wait to hear how well it all goes,  you'll do great and be so glad you did this  :o) jeani
