Good morning sweeties!  This is a little trite, but I wanted to share.  Yesterday when I finished work, I went out to my van, put the key in and ....nothing.  Hmmm, what to do.  Got out my cell phone to call hubby and... phone was dead.   Hmmmm, should I walk back into the hospital and use the department phone???....Naaaa, I can't see going back in there once I'm out.  SO...I chose to walk home.  It was a beautiful day, I had a full cup of tea with me, the walk is only about 4 miles.  I decided to go for it.  I really enjoyed the walk, it's pretty country side, farmers fields, etc.  I decided to practice happiness on my walk, and to have an attitude of praise. Why not? It took me 1 hour to walk the 4 miles.  Once I was about 2 blocks from home, I spotted hubbies rag top VW coming up the road towards me.  Yep, he was worried and came looking.  Nice.  Turns out my battery just up and died.  DH fixed it this morning.  So that's it. My NSV.
Hope you all have a great day!

AAAWWWW, hubby loves you and cares about you you.  AND  you can walk 4 miles after working all day.  WOW!   The walk sounds very enjoyable with your tea and the beautiful weather.  Nice NSV!

I'm loving that NSV! I love walking now though once upon a time it was such a chore! Glad things worked out with your car too.

That is awesome.  I too had some car trouble and had to catch the bus all the way home.  I could have called my friend but in the end I was like it's just walking a little extra.  Isn't it just GREAT to decided to walk for whatever reason and be ABLE to...

How wonderful to have the option of being able to walk home. At my peak weight I couldn't have done that but could now. Just more evidence of the freedom we have all gained. Diane

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Isn't it awesome to have the choice to walk now. I remember circling parking lots looking for a close spot because i knew if I had to walk any distance I'd be sweaty and out of breath by the time I got anywhere. Now I intentionally park far away for that extra exercise
