Tang

Today I found myself in a pinch. I was at my son's house and got thirsty (yes I travel prepared but it was hot out and I'd already finished my protein water). Plain water does not sit well with me so I poured 1 ounce of Tang (already fixed with water) into a large ice water. It gave the water just a tiny bit of flavor and didn't give me indigestion. As I was riding home it occurred to me how this just may be a good alternative to the flavored drinks being it would be much cheaper to use and very few calories.

I rhink that's a great idea.  I wonder if it comes sugar free.

I loved tang years ago and looked for it sugar free after I had surgery but couldn't find it.  Where did you find it Sugar free?

Thanks,
Patty

I didn't find it in the sugar-free, just saw that there was a sugar-free version on their website. I think though that being I only used a splash of it that those 2 calories really aren't worth worring about.

An eight of an ounce does. All I did was use a splash of it to flavor my water. My point was that Tang is something I have already made up for the kids so rather than buying the expensive tubes of flavoring for water that the Tang would work just as well.

I advocated doing that with all the juices.  Apple juice, orange, cranberry etc...especially for those tha****er doesn't sit well with anymore.  I usually add more water to my crystal light mixes too.
