Exercise suggestions
Thanks Lee. I do believe my long term exercise is what's making my maintenance much easier. I have built a lot of muscle mass over the years and when I had my lower body lift my surgeon said he hadn't seen a body as muscular as mine on his table in over 10 years! He didn't even have to tighten my abdominal wall. This made the procedure much less painful.
I know that no one wants to hear the reality of the importance exercise plays in the big picture. But if you look at the results of us who've been weightlifting for a while...me, Brandilynn, Mandy...well the results speak volumes. : ))
My motto is like Nike's...just do it!!

So I am working through obstacles in mobility and arthritis but it hasn't stopped my progress with exercise. I started in the pool and continue to do water exercise only. The last thing I want is an injury! I was doing aqua jogging and aerobics but lately added deep water noodle exercises. I stand on two noodles and do the exercises and WOW what a difference. Since it focuses on the core muscles I am feeling great, losing inches and weight. I do not feel like i am working hard and for me it is fun and challenging to keep my balance while adding in new moves. Only an hour a day and great results. I recommend it for those facing similar challenges.
