TOPS Recognition Day pictures

Well I received my recognition at the State Recognition Days for Iowa TOPS members.  I stood on stage while they read "my story" and I found that I was fighting back tears to hear it read outloud in front of all those people. ..About my happiness now and some of the hurdles I've jumped due to the weight loss.  The second picture is me with my biggest supporter, my daughter Christa.  She was there for support.  I love that woman with all my heart!

I would have choked back tears too if I heard my story told out loud to crowd.  Was it surreal????

Yes Tri**** seemed surreal.  When my story got to the part about things I can do now that I couldn't before, especially having a lap that my grandchildren can sit on while I read to them, I looked out and I could tell Christa was crying, so that really got to me.

Thanks Diane.  I don't think she looks anything like me, but I do have people tell me now that I've lost weight they can see that she does resemble me.  I still don't see it. lol
