Phew!
Well I have to admit bread doesnt call my name.....I can take it or leave it. But I have been eating alot of morningstar and I love the veggie burger....which tastes good on a bun. But gonna have to go without and see if it does in fact effect my weight loss. P.S.Im a sugar ****

yep its hard to keep up with the main vsg forum. Two years ago you could read every post and response but not any more. Just have to skim and look for things that are not repeats or that just look funny or interesting.
But lets not forget that all those newbies need mentoring and us old timers should take an occasional moment to anwer a couple of questions. Remember how much it mean't when you were new.

Oh yes! I find that, even when I'm within my 700-800 calories/day, if I eat grain-based carbs or sugar, my weight loss slows or stalls. (Not to mention the cravings, which are another story.) They're finding it really isn't calories-in, calories-out, because of the way the body responds to certain nutrients vs. others. Read Gary Taubes, either Good Calories, Bad Calories or Why We Get Fat. Amazing stuff.
