I am keeping you lifted up ladyfriend.  The Monkey (whatever it may be to whomever) is a beast indeed. 

I have the sugar monkey on my back also... I hate I added sugar back into my diet.  Fortunately,  I haven't gained but know it will happen if I continue.  I know I really need to do something,  I am out of control and it's not a good feeling.  Every night I say no junk for me tomorrow, but continue to eat the crap...

I hear ya..... sugar is the devil!!!!!!

I just recently saw something saying that sugar is poison.   That all the sickness we get is really related to sugar in our diet    i find that very interesting.   Dr Oz show today stated that carbs are the new cocaine and most of us are addicted to it  :o(  jeani

I've taped that episode and will have a chance to watch it this weekend.  Sounds intriguing!

Thanks so much, everyone, for your support.    I'm doing better than I expected and haven't had any sweets since Monday.  There is a little bit of sugar in my salad dressing and peanut butter, but not much.  I was planning to forego even artificial sweeteners, but I have had some stevia in my tea and a diet lemonade from Chick-fil-A after choir last night.  

The catalyst on Monday for ditching the junk was seeing my eating disorders counselor lady.  She gave me what-for, and we agreed that these twenty pounds could progress to gaining all my weight back if I didn't stop the garbage.  We also agreed that the insanity running around in my brain is a direct result of the sugar coursing through my body.  I had such peace when I was off the junk.

Here I come again!

This may be a little TMI-ish, but one thing that has really helped me lately has been to get some Ketostix and pee on one every morning and night to make sure I am keeping my carbs low enough.  If I want those sticks to turn pink, I can't afford to have sugar in my diet!  Plus it's a great little NSV every time I can make the "pee sticks" change color!

Oh jiminy, I have to play for a funeral today!  (I'm a church organist.)  Does Pigstock meet every year?  Please keep me up to date on it, cuz Buddy Pig and I would love to come! 

And yes, I could really use some piggy and human loving, sigh.  This has been a stinker of a past few weeks.  Boss (Dictator) and I had a huge row, and things are extremely frosty ... and tense beyond description.  AARRGGHH!  I hate conflict!!

Say hi to some piggies for me, and look for me next time!
