Well, I think we actually have been inspiring each other - it seemed from this end like you just FLEW to goal, and you look fantastic (and about 15 years younger too!). Thanks for the kind words and congratulations!

Thanks so much Jeani - you are one of the OH peeps who feels like a sleeve sister to me, even though we didn't have our surgeries at the same time and place. You also are a bright light on this and VSG board with your supportive and helpful posts. THank you!

Margo, what a fabulous post!  We are two days apart in our surgery dates and I feel like I could have written your post. Because we had surgery at the same time, I've been following your progress closely.

Yes to everything you said.  I had to really laugh about being able to reach around to fasten your bra.  I felt like that was such a big victory.  In January, after maintaining the same weight from the end of October, I was sure I was done and wouldn't lose another ounce.  Today I'm down another 15 pounds.  I had a back injury in October and had to cut down on all exercise except light walking.  When I was healed enough to start Pilates and Yoga, things started to pick up again.  I also got rid of all unnecessary carbs and that really helped.  I too didn't think I'd get to goal and decided that it was ok if I didn't, but in my heart I really wanted that 100 pounds gone.  I've never in my life achieved a weight goal.  This week I hit my Weigh****chers goal and that made me so happy.  So regardless of what I say, I do care a lot.  I too don't think I'll ever have to worry about going too low.

I'm going to just keep up the drill of protein, vitamins, fluids, exercise and see where it takes me.

I think you look fantastic!  Your before and after photos are amazing to look at.  I know you feel great!

Thank you Lee! You have also done an amazing job with this - especially considering your injury. My only reason for slowing down on exercise was the usual busy, tired, bad weather etc excuses!

margo,

Thanks so much for your post..it was awesome and you look SUPER AWESOME!!  You should be so proud of yourself.  I have always loved your posts along my journey.  They have always been so inspirational.  I even bought an ice cream maker after your posts on frozed yogurt.  (Haven't used it yet but I am going to this summer!)  Keep up the great work!  You are right...this is a lifestyle for all of us now..not just a diet.  nothing really does change when we hit goal does it?  We will still do the same...but boy it must feel great!

Thanks for your inspiration!

Thank you Patty! And thanks for reminding me about the ice cream - we are having our first sunny day in about a million years and I might need to haul that canister out of the back of the freezer tonight!
