Oh fudge I have to work at art gallery and pick up stuff and i think i am gonna miss this again. dang it. one of these times I will make it..
Made some great asparagus soup last night. steamed about a dozen asparagus spears, pureed them with can of chicken broth, added just a little half and half and skim milk, dash of white pepper, and the secret ingredient - juice of one small lime. It was delicious. And in my serving I mixed in a couple tablespoons of unflavored soy protein powder to add 15 or so g protein. could barely taste it and unflavored soy tastes fine in soups and such. Made this because my husband had a toothache and required mushy food. So its a recipe to discuss. don't think it had more than 60 calories a cup.
