Thanks for noticing that.. I never paid much attention to the BMI.  My body fat % is now 43%.. only a bit more to go to my goal of 29%.. woot!

The fact that you managed 150 lbs with the hunger still there is SO impressive.  I've really appreciated everyone's comments on ways to deal with my return to hunger.  I think I may have figured out what was the main contributing factor.  About four weeks ago I switched from having an egg and cheese for breakfast (just about every morning) to having a protein shake instead.  I think it turns out that the shake just couldn't hold me through the morning and was setting me up to feel hungry all day.  I'm not quite sure why it didn't really affect me for the first two weeks - but the last two weeks it has been really bad.

So since Thursday I went back to an egg for breakfast, and I also started on Nexium.  That combination seems to have solved my problem for the moment.

But also, the head hunger issue is now much more present for me.  I'm lucky in that I live in a place without a huge amount of food choice (well at least not like if I were back in NY), so making food choices is a lot easier.  I am, however, extremely nervous about the 6 weeks of my home leave starting in about 5 weeks.  I left the US when I was still on liquids... and returning to NY, where all my trigger foods are very available, scares the crap out of me.

In any case... I hope you are feeling really proud.

Glad you figured out what was effecting you.. for me I have to take my PPI, drink lots of fluids, eat lots of protein and pretty much pull out every strategy in the book.  So I know and use most of the ones I've heard of. :)  You'll make it through NY just fine.. just don't give yourself permission to go off plan would be my advice.. for me once I start it's hard to stop!
