congratulations!  what a difference that must make in how you feel.  I am glad to see you finding what works for you & I know I would like to add fluids, for example.

but I have to say, I have never learned to eat slowly (or if I did, it wore off!) and the measuring stuff out I would hate.  I don't think I could do it if I had to so I'm glad I don't.
I never got used to eating slowly either.. tried and tried and just can't do it.  The measuring stuff I kind of have to do otherwise I will over eat and give myself foamies.  It's just simply using some bowls that are premeasured to 1/2 cup.. nothing too strenuous.. lol.

Hey Lady, 150 lbs in 9 months is a HUGE achievement. Really very few people have lost that much in that time. You have done exceptionally well and look great and are in the home stretch. Sometimes in the second half of the weight loss journey it just seems like it has gone on forever and will never end. But your loss rate is rapid and you will one day wake up at a goal and go what the h...!!!!!!!   Or like me and go to a doctor apt expecting to be told to lose 19 more and getting told "you look great, you are done".

Your inisight is exceptional as are you and thats why I would bet anything that you are gonna get to where you want to be.   So congrats on the 150. So inspirational.     Diane

Congratulations, and thanks so much for the tips! Awesome achievement. I think that many of us are hardest on ourselves and focus on what didn't go right. But 150 in 9: you did good!
It's not the destination, it's the journey..

Thank you! Believe me I'm celebrating what I have done well while keeping an eye out for improvements.  I do feel more hopeful now because in the past month I have finally found a water I can drink and am drinking a lot of it, and thanks to Frisco I'm really measuring things out now instead of eating as much as I CAN fit.

You are amazing! Congrats on the awesome weight loss. And oh boy to I have tremendous respect for you to have done this all with your hunger in tact. What a monumental achievement.

I think for us, the trick is to keep going when we still have so much more to go. But we can do it! (At least I keep telling myself that.)

Hey Hally..thanks for the congrats.. your weight loss is kicking my butt though! LOL.  I know you posted recently that you just started experiencing your hunger coming back, so I bet you can imagine what it's been like for me all along, and losing all the weight still.. rough!

Good news is that I have done lots of research and talked to lots of vets about the hunger and have lots of good tricks.  So while it sucks to have the hunger come back, I have lots of helpful info for you! Hugs...
