hello!  I am all about the emotional and mental side, had zero problem with losing weight and now trying to not gain it back.

I hear you on "I haven't changed"  - you feel like you always did in a lot of ways.

but, I have made changes for the better and sometimes I can look back and really realize it. then I pat myself on the back a LOT!

Congratulations on your weight loss and reaching maintenance!!!!

I am also struggling with some of the same issues. I reached my goal about 3-4 weeks ago, which is fantastic and I feel like a new person, but some of the old habits are nipping at my heels. But, the new habits, such as, self monitoring, exercise, journaling, seeking support, staying active have to win out. This is a battle and the possibility of weight regain, is a very realistic fear. We always have to be aware and mindful of what we are doing.

Keep on doing what you did to lose the weight: planning, avoiding impulse eating, exercising like crazy, and everything else that you did to lose the weight. We have to keep doing those things to maintain.
