The NSV that never gets old...

I went to my daughter's high school tonight for her Senior banquet. Id say, at minimum, twenty people walked right by me not knowing who I was until I spoke to them! I suppose that will happen when you go from a size 22 to a 6 in a short time frame. People were literally gathering around my table to come see the new me ( in my size small dress)! It was a great night with countless compliments!

OMGosh Annie, that is soooooo awesome!!!!!!!  You were rockin' that tiny dress!  I'll bet your daughter was really proud of you because of how much you have accomplished.

You know, I've noticed lately that people aren't recognizing me either.  It's so starnge isn't it??  This last time it happened, I kind of enjoyed it.  It happened at my daughter's school.  The office staff stared blankly at me until I said my daughter's name.  Then one of them  asked how the heck I lost so much weight.  I said that I eat less, count my calories, used my CPAP machine religiously......exercised......all true...........hee hee  (I'm off of the CPAP now)

Just wait till they see you in size 0..........yep.....they're gonna freak out girlfriend!! Do you have pictures to share???????????

Not sure I want to get to a size 0......Thats a bit extreme. lol
I posted some pics a few weeks ago at six months out. I have gone down another size since those pics, though. :)
I noticed you responded to the post about the possible meet up in Texas. If it all comes together, I plan to attend as well. St. Louis isnt that far from Dallas. And.....my cousin lives in the Dallas area and is getting sleeved in 12 days, so I will drag her along with me!

Your so nice to me Annie.....When you posted those pictures...I was on all those good pain medications.  I went to your profile and saw them just now, and totally remember how good you look.  I even commented on the post......sheeeeesh.....didn't I think you gallbladder surgery once as well???  Again...you are sooo letting me slide. Thanks!

Yes, I plan on going to the Texas meet-up!  I can't wait to meet all of the sleevers that attend.

How exciting for your cousin!!!  How great to have a family member getting sleeved!

I have 2 cousins in Corpus Christi who are getting RNY.  I know I know,,,,I could not convince them otherwise.....They want mal-nutrition, AND they're both nurses...I hope they do well with it.

Congrats on being one more size down since those pictures!!!!  WOW!

Ha Ha Ha......I grew up in South Dakota.  Home of over friendly people who talk to everyone and help anyone.  That must be one of the reasons we get along!!!!!!
