I just home from work and not very hungry due to good protein breakfast, lunch & snacks. so I am eating an apple and thinking about the day. I did some non-eating things I had planned to and mostly made good choices with food.

tonight I have a library book I have been wanting to get to and will not be turning on the TV.  that always makes it easier to only eat mindfully.

when I get hungry I have a plan starting with steamed broccoli and lots of produce and more. I love it when there are lots of good choices in my fridge. much better than earlier this week - I need to keep grocery shopping often enough to make it easy to choose good food.

I can keep good food around, but then I don't want to eat it. I look at it and think of all the other things
I'd rather have.

I just bought the book Water for Elephants after seeing the movie. I need to do more reading. That would be a good way to avoid all those food porn commercials!

TV is a much bigger trigger than I realized. I'd like to make a no eating while watching goal but don't feel like it is do-able right now.

I'm the same way, but with the computer. I am planning to make a quiche tomorrow so that I have a protien food I like which can be reheated quickly. Lots of pricing clothes and items for a yardsale on Friday. Getting ready for my first girls out weekend a week from Friday. Well first in over 7 years :D I'm even going to wear a bathing suit!

Yes, you are speaking the truth.  Lots of good choice food supplies=good choices made when it's time to eat and snack!

When I first read your title, I thought it said "PMS pause"  Ha Ha....I guess maybe because I am PMSing!

OT-you really are way over on the west side of the state.  Well darn, I won't be driving that way.

yes, it's a pity but if you are every around Denver I could drive down to meet you. Rapid City, SD also.

 There is a chance that I could drive up to Spokane Wa, or Billings Montana, in the next year.  If I do, I will stop by and meet you.  Wouldn't that be fun?

We're Military and have friends and family everywhere.   But I can only handle one long drive a year and my 30 year high school reunion is this summer in South Dakota, so that's my destination.  I'll have my kids with me, hubby is staying home. 

I wish you were on the way....or a shorter detour than you are...darn-it!
