Going low carb for a final weight loss push!

I've lost almost 55 pounds and am wearing a size 0/2 on the bottom and size 2/4/6 on top, and couldn't be happier.  I'm maintaining at 120-122 while eating pretty much whatever I want, although I am working out hard five days a week.  But I'd really like to get below 120 pounds, and I still have a layer of fat on my back, shoulders, and upper arms that I'd like to get rid of.  (I'm only 5'2" so those weights and sizes aren't as small as they seem on a shortie like me!)

So... I've decided to go into diet mode and make one last hard push to lose that last 5-10 pounds and see if I can lose the last of the padding that is covering up the nice muscles I've developed on my upper body.  I've let way too much sugar and white carbs creep into my diet, so I think the best thing to do is eliminate them and go very low carb for a while.

I just planned out my food for tomorrow, and my plan is as follows:

B:  protein shake
L:  1-2 hard boiled eggs, 1-2 oz string cheese
D:  2-4 oz ground beef, 1/2 cup steamed greens
S:  1/2 cup greens, 1 oz cheese

That adds up to 961 calories, 23 grams carbs, and 90 grams protein if I eat everything I have planned, or as little as 750 or so if I only eat 1 egg and 1 cheese for lunch.  My husband is out of town on business and I'm home alone for a few weeks, so I can continue on a diet very similar to this for a few weeks and hopefully take off a few pounds.

Does this seem reasonable?  Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yes, this seems totally reasonable to me.  This is pretty much what I would do too if I wanted to lose a little.  Don't forget to drink like a fish.  You might consider posting your food here everyday to stay on top of it.  I am rooting for you.  PM me if you need any support.  You can do this.

Thanks, Elina!  I really appreciate the cheerleading!!  Good point about the water intake -- I will definitely keep that in mind!

Coming back to say I have been low carb and low cal all week, worked out every day, and lo and behold, got on the scale this morning and FINALLY saw 119.8 after being in the 120s (or above) since THANKSGIVING!! Woo-hoo!! I hope I can stay in the "one-teens" and not bounce right back up! My goal is to get down to 115 for my son's USMC boot camp graduation on July 22. That's about a half pound a week, which is about double the rate I've been losing at, but I think I can do it if I keep up with the low carb, low cal.

Edited to add: I posted my weight milestone on my Facebook page, and a friend commented: "If you keep this up, you're gonna need a car seat!" LOL
