hi im new here, I am 6 months out, in the beginning i was 280 i am now 190, but my goal weight, is 145 per md.i am 5'7 and think i would look better at 160 but will strive for 145. I am starting to crave candy real bad, any one have any idea how i can ignore this? what is everybody doing for exercise?

My sweet tooth craving was satisfied by grapes. Low calorie and tasted so sweet to me. you can freeze them and eat them frozen. Blueberries too.
Look down a few posts for my recipe for cinnamon almonds. its what kept me out of the xmas cookies. There are some sugar free hard candies and trader joes has great sugar free dark choc that is low carb and not too many calories.
Also, make your favorite protein drink (with extra unsweetened coco powder) and freeze it. Then nuke it slightly to soften and then blend it. the result is a soft serve texture that is very appealing. works better than grinding up ice cubes in the blender.
my husband chews sugar free gum a lot.

Welcome to the maint forum. I have one snack that I eat that offers a tiny bit of sweet, a lot of crunch and is low carb. It's "my go to" sweet tooth munchy snack. It's Mrs. Mays triple berry crunch. It's basically a nugget of crunchy almonds mixed with fruit, and a small amount of evaporated cane juice for sweetness. A serving has:
156 calories
13 grams fat
5 net grams of carbs
5 grams of protein.
