Monday PM pause, post and plan
today while commuting I played my Commitment & Persistence CD and made some goals for myself, none of them eating or exercise related.
last two days I ran out of some groceries I consider staples - like eggs - and really had a problem not ordering Domino's. I need to plan ahead and always have a lot of good food in the house instead of letting myself run out.
this evening I found a dusty can of tuna and opened it up but the result was uninspired. ice cream is still lurking in my freezer - last night I decided to throw it away but this evening I am too tired to walk to the dumpster. so we'll see. I have to say "Snickers" sounds like it will be good but it turns out I really prefer my ice cream without chunks of candy in it. I never knew that before.

well, go right now and pour some soap in that ice cream so you are not tempted later. i hear ya about the groceries thing. if its a long trip for you then its hard to keep fresh things and healthy things in stock. pre vsg i only grocery shopped every 10 days and made a huge run to the discount grocery which was far away. i still shop there but far less often since i don't buy pasta and rice and such. now i make more frequent stops at the hippie dippie coop because they do have fresh veggies of good quality and seems like they have to be replenished every two or three days. also try to keep my husband stocked with good fruit which he loves and which i would rather see him eat than chips and crap.
and tuna ain't bad if you mu**** up and put dill pickles in it and ff mayo.
and good for you for listening to tape thats not about food issues. part of all this is finding stuff to do that is not about food.
