(Re) introduction

Hi, all, some of you may remember me from the VSG forum. I am not at goal, (and thanks, Dr. C for moving the goalpost 25lbs away, grrr), but am having a lot of the issues that maintainers face. My weight loss has slowed, it is easy for me to eat slider foods, you know the list.  But it's good to be here, and I have to thank Diane and Elina - they "keep pulling me back in!" 

On a separate note, an awesome OH meetup in the SF Bay area yesterday. If you get a chance to go to a meetup like this in your area, don't miss it. It is lovely to meet all the faces that you know so well from the forums.

I envy those of you who have in person support, I have always only had online. it's been enough, however!

If you want to have a support meeting with just me, I'm driving through Nebraska this summer.  My brother lives in Fremont.  Then I'm off to South Dakota for my 30 year high school reunion (yay weight loss, and ack I feel old)

that would be nice!   isn't Fremont way east, near Omaha? were are you coming from? because if it's Texas you won't get anywhere near me.

Welcome! It is great to have in person support (I have 2 groups) but OH is def great as well! Congrats on your WL so far! You will be at goal, even if its pushed out further, before you know it!!

Our San Antonio support group met today.  It's wonderful to meet up.  Our host, who started the group "Jessica" is having her sleeve surgery tomorrow!!!!  I'm so excited for her!

Hey Gad, hi and welcome. This is the group where the rubber meets the road and we go beyond questions about mushies and such. I always think its important to be looking ahead to the next phase - even those of us at goal have to look ahead and think about how we will hopefully still be there in a year and longer. There is lots to be learned here and everyone has something to offer regardless of what stage they have reached. So don't just lurk- chime in when you feel like it even if its venting about the antics of our favorite surgeon.

And it was great to meet you and all at Los Gatos. I will be making a big blathering post about that event.   Diane
