Return to ravenous hunger - Dealing with it?

MacMadame.  Thanks for this feedback.  I have actually changed my exercise routine in the past few weeks - corresponding with my increased hunger.  I used to do the treadmill (uphill) for 40 minutes about 5 or 6 times per week, but I injured my knee and for a few weeks I've been swimming (breaststroke, 30 minutes) instead.  According to the various exercise websites I'm burning about 150 more calories per exercise, although during this past week I've also been absolutely stalled.  I feel like some kind of transition is happening with my body - and after 182 lbs lost in 9 months I can understand that perhaps it is trying to catch up - or maybe hold me back.  It is kind of hard to explain, but I hope you get what I mean.

In any event, I took your advice and packed a hard boiled egg for snack at work today and it worked great!  Thanks for the idea.  I was using veggies for snacks, just so I can get them in, but perhaps I need to focus on protein snacks for a few weeks until this "transition" is over.

Meat is pretty much the only food that stays with me for a really long time. I'd be hungry shortly after I ate just veggies.

I agree to try an acid blocker. I stopped taking mine for a while because my GERD was better, but I find I am less hungry feeling when I take it.

Thanks.  I think I'm going to switch to protein snacks for a few days and see if that makes a difference.
