Do any of you on maintenance participate in WW?   When I was going a few years ago, there were two folks in the class I was attending who went regularly to keep everything in focus and stay smart.  Is anyone here of the same mind??

I stayed with WW throughout my weight loss.  I never told them I'd been sleeved.  I was sleeved in Mexico, so I need some sort of support group.  After reaching my goal weight with WW I became a lifetime member.  That was 2 weeks ago.  I will go periodically now just to be sure I stay the course.  I'm of the mind that any help I can get is a good thing.

i haven't done this but i think lots of people do. and I hear Tops is now very accepting of wls patients and i bet WW is too. Up to you if you want to disclose that fact. But their new system that counts carbs more heavily now sounds like a good way to go for a wls patient.   Try it and report in.  Diane

I joined TOPS  he first of the year...the holiday season took a 10 # toll on me.  I lost the 10 #'s plus 10 more for a total of 20 #'s.  I did have to fill out member-ship form and it ask about WLS, but, they have been very supportive of me.

Tops is not as expensive as WW, so this was a real factor for me.  Good Luck!!!

I go to WW every Monday night.  I promised myself that I would catch any weight problems before they had time to snowball, so it's that weekly weigh in for me.  I haven't told them that I had WLS.  My WW goal is 155 so I'm just a few pounds away.  I look forward to Lifetime and not having to pay for my accountability.  I actually have a great leader which is why I went back.  He always talks about the head/heart/stomach connection to why we eat.  I figure what the heck, I need all the accountability and support I can get.
