Just sleeved 2 days ago so I am here to learn.  I plan on rocking this sleeve.  I am a band revision to VSG.

Welcome and congrats on getting the sleeve!

Don't forget to check out the main VSG board as well as this one.  Both boards have caring people and valuable info.

How are you feeling?  Are you getting your water in?  Did you have any surgery complications?

Did you get your band out at the same time as you got the sleeve, or was it a 2 part surgery?

I like your clever user name!

I am sipping water and sugar free Crystal Light... which I LOVE.  I am also drinking one protein tube a day, half in the morning half in the afternoon. It's a 50g tube so that's 25g each sitting.  Taking a liquid multi vitamin in the morning that I just LOVE.

No complications that I noticed.  Since it was a revision from the band I did have some scar tissue that needed to be removed.  They did it all in one procedure so I was thankful.

I used to be on here as TheBigBear but I changed the account.  ;)

so is the tube a "bullet"?

have you ever tried Syntrax Nectars? much better tasting and I have heard the quality of the protein bullets is not as good.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

Welcome and I wish you a speedy recovery.  Keep sip, sip, sipping and walking and all will be well.  I hope you are feeling good and are not in any pain.

I'm in a little bit of pain where my port used to be. That's probably the worst part.  I am staying in front of the pain by taking my pain meds every 4 hours so it doesn't feel too bad.

I was told that I would be passing gas a lot, but I haven't so far.  I have a heated pad that I heat and put on my shoulders when I feel pain.

I remember you (Bear) from the band board when I was going to get the When I decided on sleeve, I still lurked on the band forum for a while because there are fantastic people over there.  But I pretty much stay here and the main VSG forum now.

Welcome!  You're going to love your sleeve.

May I ask why the revision?

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Hi and welcome. You already took the two most important steps to end obesity: first being getting the sleeve and second being commitment to learning. I think its important for newly sleeved people to see whats in store in the future which is why this group welcomes everyone at al phases. Hope your procedure and recovery are going well. Read Sublimate's post on the main vsg on info for newbies as it has lots of good stuff for the first few weeks.  Diane
