Transition Time/ Zen Zone

for me Zen is the ultimate in mindful and I want to see myself moving this direction.

this evening I am meeting a cousin & his wife for dinner, I have only seen them maybe 3 times in my adult life so it's not super cozy - but we met at the same restaurant maybe 2 years ago which was post WLS so I talked with them about it at that time. this time should be more natural, I guess. still, socializing of most kind I find slightly stressful since I need more practice.

plan:

NO peanuts (but I can put some in my purse for tomorrow)
one glass of wine, whatever I want for dinner

after coming home: I put the leftovers away and do NOT take them out again tonight. I will eat left overs tomorrow.

if I get hungry again tonight, I get something else to eat. cut open the melon or cereal.

today's goal: don't open the leftovers again tonight

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

Today I have some errands to run after work.  Whi*****ludes a trip to the Vitamin Shoppe.

When I get home I will eat my 2 piece Popeys and have a snack of a SF Popsicle/Fudgesicle/Creamsicle not sure which 1 it's a variety pack.

This sounds like a great plan. Enjoy the company with your cousin and get to know them a little better.

You really have a gift for these plans. I think you should run a government agency.

Have  a great time.   Diane

Why are evenings so hard and my mind just keeps thinking about whatever food is in the
pantry?

I need something else to do in the evenings besides sit online and think about food.
